‘Acharya Narendra Dev Research Institute’ was founded by Lt. Shri Pratap Bhaiya in 1989 as a part of ‘Acharya Narendra Dev Siksha Nidhi’. He also presided as the administrator and founder-member of the society’s Executive Committee. Currently Mr. Bhuwan Chandra Pant is the Director and Mr. Jyoti Prakash Singh Bora, as the manager, looks after the entire working of the Institute.

With Professor Neeta Bora Sharma as the Editor-in-Chief, the Institute has published a huge range of books and Journals. Some of the published work includes ‘Role of Reservation in the development of Scheduled Castes’, ‘Niyojan Ke Haqdar’,’Humari Siksha Evam Siksha Niti’, ‘ Acharya Narendra Dev ke Siksha me Maulik Vichar’ and ‘Journal of Acharya Narendra Dev Institute’.

The Research Institute organizes a programme on October 31^st every year, commemorating Lt. Shri Acharya Narendra Dev and Lt. Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel. People who have contributed much in Education, Politics, Administration, Health, Culture, Social-Welfare, Research, History, and other miscellaneous fields are given the ‘Acharya Narendra Dev Alankaran’ as a token of respect for their work.
